Get Your Hands Dirty for Gladstone’s National Tree Day Event

Toyota Australia and Planet Ark‘s National Tree Dayis on again!Now in its 21st year, and following the success of the 2019 community event, Gladstone Regional Council, Conservation Volunteers Australia and Bill Robertson Toyotaare again partnering to conduct this free community tree planting event alongside to celebrate Australia’s largest annual tree planting and nature care event. The event encourages communities to help preserve the environment for future generations.

The Gladstone Regional community are invited to come along, Sunday August 1, 9am-12pm at Cashin Park, The Oaks Road, Tannum Sands.The Bill Robertson Toyota team will be offering a free BBQ for all attendees plus Creative Recycling Centre will have some fun musical instruments for the kids to play with and Gladstone Wildlife Carerers will have some animals to pat.All equipment is supplied, however please wear closed-in shoes, sun safe gear and water bottles. Please note – no toilet facilities on site and no dogs allowed.This is a free – all ages event, however it will be run with a covid safe plan, so registrations to attend are highly recommended.
