Bill Robertson Toyota has partnered with two local business coaches to bring a unique event to the Gladstone community. The dealership will be hosting a “Safe and Savvy – Women in Business” event on Wednesday November 9 at 10am. Register here.
Local women are invited to come along for a free morning of networking, building connections and business training, along with getting some handy hints on vehicle maintenance and safety.
The event will be MC’d by Donna Hann from “She’s in Business” and Courtney Morrison from “Thrive Local”. The event came about after Bill Robertson Toyota’s, Erin Robertson met with local business coach, Donna Hann to discuss how the businesses could work together to help Gladstone women in business improve their confidence, connections and skills both in business and in their personal life.
She’s in Business owner, Donna Hann said, “If you wish you had support around you, a few business buddies and even some business experts at your fingertips to help you through the tough times and celebrate the wins, then this event is a great start. We think it’s time we all got together for networking, building connections to other like-minded women and business training. This safe and savvy event combines business education and road safety.”
Bill Robertson Toyota’s, Marketing and Brand Manager, Erin Robertson added, “We saw the need to offer this service to our community after the struggle many of us have gone through over the past two years. Our motto here at the dealership is, “we love locals”, so we wanted to do something for the community to show that.”
The safe and savvy event will be held at the Gladstone dealership on Hanson Road with an area available for children to play for those participants bringing along their children.
Bill Robertson Toyota will have a team of experts on hand to provide information on how to change a tyre, vehicle maintenance basics and savvy tools to optimise travel time and tips to empower knowledge about vehicles will be shared with participants at the event. Special guests from the Gladstone Police Service will also be at the event to give participants some road safety advice.
The event is free, however attendee’s are encouraged to register for the purposes of catering and giveaways.
