In early 2018, Toyota released three new HiLux 4×4 dual cab vehicles, Rugged, Rogue and Rugged X offering greater levels of protection, functionality and recovery capability. Today, the HiLux is not only a favourite of the hard-working tradies, but driving with an entirely new market of serious off-roading enthusiasts.

Toyota built the HiLux Rugged, Rogue and Rugged X to meet an increasingly high demand from Australian customers and Australian conditions. Noticing that HiLux owners were spending thousands on accessories, the HiLux grade expansion includes a raft of features integrated and engineered into the core vehicle and covered by standard factory warranty.

Heavy-duty steel front bar with an integrated bash plate, LED light bar, new design grille, snorkel, side rock rails, front and rear recovery points, a new heavy-duty steel rear and tow bar, load rated sports bar and leather-accented seats are some of the features that make up the all-new Rugged X. All models are equipped with off-road and on-road protective and functional features leaving the showroom completely ready for action.
