Bill Robertson Toyota Proud To Support GPC Port To Park For The Fourth Year

At Bill Robertson Toyota, supporting our local community is more than something we do, with our slogan, we love locals, it's part of who we are. That's why we're proud to once again sponsor the Gladstone Ports Corporations's Port to Park Fun Run as a Silver Sponsor in 2026.  The event marking our fourth consecutive year of supporting this much-loved Gladstone event.

Set to take place on Sunday, 16 August 2026, starting from East Shores, the event will bring together thousands of participants, volunteers, schools, local businesses and community organisations to celebrate health, wellbeing and community spirit. Participants can choose from three event distances, including the 10km Koongo Dash, 5km Koommonka Sprint and 3km Yallarm Family Run.

Community events like GPC's Port to Park play an important role in bringing people together. They encourage active lifestyles, strengthen local connections and create opportunities for businesses, schools and community groups to work together toward a common goal.  Port to Park not only promotes health and wellbeing, but also generates valuable fundraising outcomes for local schools and community organisations each year. Previous events have raised significant funds for local charities and schools, helping deliver lasting benefits across our community.

This year's Port to Park community beneficiary is the Gladstone Community Linking Agency (GCLA). Funds raised through the 2026 event will help support the delivery of a new wheelchair-accessible bus, improving community connection and transport access for seniors and people living with disability.  In addition, proceeds from the event will continue to support local Gladstone schools through donations that contribute to health, wellbeing and community initiatives.
