Bill Robertson Toyota
Our Local Environment
Like our electric vehicle, the bZ4X, our environmental goal is to reduce our net carbon emissions to beyond Zero.
Since 2009 we have reduced our electricity consumption by 53% even though we now sell 42% more vehicles. To achieve our goal, we will continuously improve our energy saving initiatives and implement waste and water use reductions. This requires us to monitor our consumption, research new ideas, invest in new technology and train our team.
To ensure minimal adverse environmental impact Bill Robertson Toyota will comply and obey any direction, with all Environmental legislation from National, State or Local Government authorities. Bill Robertson Toyota recognises that cars contribute significantly to the environmental burden.
National Tree Day
Bill Robertson Toyota and all of it’s staff have supported Toyota’s National Tree Days since it’s early years, their commitment has transformed landscapes across Boyne Island, Tannum Sands and Gladstone in Queensland, this has facilitated a deep community spirit among all of the staff and families and within our local community.
Ecofest Gladstone
Each year our staff are excited to participate in Ecofest. Ecofest is Central Queensland’s largest environmental awareness event with educational and informative workshops, demonstrations, activities and entertainment within the beautiful Tondoon Botanic Gardens in Gladstone.
EV Charging Station
We are now part of the Chargefox network, giving EV drivers access to a local charging point in Gladstone. If you're out and about with your EV, no matter the vehicle make or model, you can now charge at our dealership.

Containers for change
We participate in Containers for Change who collect our recycled cans and bottles from the Dealership, we have 2 change bins and an automatic direct donation is then given to the Quion Island Turtle Rehabilitation Centre. Our Service Manager, Blake Arthur shared a photo of a rescue he was involved with.
